Blythe Liggins was established in 1988 by the merger of two firms, Blythe Owen-George & Co and Liggins & Co.
Blythe Owen-George & Co was founded by Roland Owen-George and James Blythe who later became His Honour Judge Blythe.
The firm has always been based in Leamington Spa and can trace its roots back to the nineteenth century.
Liggins & Co was established by the late Sir Edmund Liggins in Little Park Street, Coventry with, as he liked to recount, a clerk and a typewriter.
Sir Edmund went on to become President of the Law Society and his memory is perpetuated in the name of the current purpose-built offices of the firm which we have occupied since 1993.
