If you care about who will deal with everything after your death you may be sure that the executors and trustees are people chosen by you in your Will to deal with matters.
Although it is possible to make a homemade Will without using solicitor, problems often arise which prevent your wishes from being carried out.
Without the help of an expert such as a solicitor, there is a real risk that you could make a mistake which could cause problems for your family and friends after your death.
If you want to make sure a particular gift is given to someone specific this may be recorded in your Will so as to make the gift legally binding.

The exact cost will depend on the individual circumstances of the matter.
For example, if there is one beneficiary and no property, costs will be at the lower end of the range.
If there are multiple beneficiaries, a property and multiple bank accounts, costs will be at the higher end.
Our charges are calculated according to the time spent by those who will deal with your matter and a value element.
The value element reflects the responsibility involved and the weight of the matter and is based on a percentage of the value of the assets.

If a person you care about has lost their capacity you may need to apply to the Court for an Order to be appointed as their 'Deputy' to manage their property and finances.
If it is desirable it is also possible for a lawyer to be appointed as Deputy to manage the affairs of someone who has lost capacity.
The lawyers in this firm are able to act as Deputies if required.
We are also able to act on behalf of any proposed 'Deputy' to deal with all matters in connection with their making an Application to the Court for such an Order.
