Abrahams Dresden is a firm of commercial solicitors, established in 1995 and located in Smithfield, London EC1. We provide high quality, specialist legal services at competitive rates. We aim to give clear advice in a friendly and efficient way, with an informality seldom found amongst lawyers. We have a somewhat unusual approach to getting jobs done which is to embrace the concept of the Golden Rule, also known as the ethic of reciprocity.
This is an ethical code that essentially requires you to treat others as you would like others to treat you. In other words, we don't ask for provisions in a deal that we wouldn't agree to if asked ourselves. This concept almost always accords with the client's approach to the deal. It enables us to conclude transactions far more speedily than would be the case if every tiny point is argued for hours on end.
Wherever possible, we embrace the "fixed fee" approach which is so much more appealing to the client than the hourly related approach. Hourly rates encourage lawyers to waste time and money debating silly points.

Services
We are a commercial law firm, with a commercial outlook.
We recognise that unless the service we provide is exceptional, our clients will not be impressed and "spread the word" so our business will not grow.
The firm was founded in 1995, based on this principle and, more than 25 years later, it still holds true.
Our partners are involved in and take a close interest in all jobs in which we get involved.
We seek to establish close relationships with our clients and acquire a detailed knowledge of their businesses and their own personal goals and aspirations.

Our trainees must have completed a law degree or the CPE/GDL and the Legal Practice Course.
Due to the volume of applications received, applicants with BCC (or better) at A level and a 2.2 degree are more likely to be selected for interview.
We also favour applicants that have at least one year's legal work experience as a paralegal.
We are a small progressive commercial law firm committed to providing a superior service and excellent client care.
If you are interested in a slightly less formal experience than you might have expected, do please apply to us for a role.
