Waugh
Waugh & Co was established in 1840. The founders of the firm were C H Waugh and E J Waugh who between them held most of the prominent positions in the town including the post of Registrar of Births Marriages and Deaths and Clerk to the County Court and Magistrates Court. They were closely involved in the formation of the Haywards Heath and District Building Society and in the early days acted for the Cuckfield Rural District Council.

The original founders of the Firm laid the foundations of a practice which has since been pleased to serve generations of clients in Mid Sussex and further afield. Our aim is to provide all our clients, whether private or corporate, with a professional, efficient and friendly service.

We offer a range of services including Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, the Preparation of Wills, Trusts and Powers of Attorney, the Administration of Estates, Court of Protection Applications and the Management of Elderly Client's Affairs.Although the firm has a modern outlook we still strive to maintain the core values of integrity and client care established by the original founders of the firm.
