We appreciate that it may not be convenient for you to contact us during normal office hours, so we offer an extended hours service. We can be contacted from 9.00am to 7.00pm five days a week.

If it is difficult for you to see us during the normal working day, we will be happy to make an appointment at a time to suit you. We will even come to you if this is more convenient. Whether you are buying your first home, buying a bigger home, downsizing, buying a property to let for investment purposes, remortgaging or transferring the ownership of an existing property, we provide a personal, friendly, efficient and prompt service.
We will provide you with an estimate of our charges and disbursements before we undertake any work from you and unless any unforeseen circumstances arise, the estimated costs will be the actual costs paid by you.
If the matter does not proceed to a completion through no fault of your own, then we will not charge for our services or any works carried out for you, and we will only charge you for disbursements that we have paid on your behalf, i.e. searches, identity checks etc.
The gov.uk website currently states that buying or selling a home normally takes 2 to 3 months.
The process can take longer if you're part of a chain of buyers and sellers.
Buyers who are purchasing their first property or replacing their main residence will not have to pay Stamp Duty on the first 300,000 of the purchase price, but will pay 5% on the portion from 300,001 to 500,000.
Where the purchase price is no more than 500,000.
If the purchase price is more than 500,000 you cannot claim the relief.
