You can apply for this permit if your child is under the age of 18 and is living an independent life in the UK.
Children of a British national or settled person.
Only children under the age of 18 can be included in your application as dependants.
Adults coming to be cared for by a relative.
To be eligible, your designated relative must be a British national or settled person.
In addition, this person must be able to support, accommodate and care for you without claiming public funds.

If applying for leave to enter the UK and your sponsor is living outside of the UK at the time of application, you will also qualify for leave to enter if he has a firm job offer from a UK employer, with suitable salary, due to start within 3 months of returning.

The accommodation requirements remain the same, that is that you have somewhere to stay with the permission of the owner of the property, with at least one room that you and your sponsor occupy exclusively, and that will not be overcrowded.

If you're staying in the UK as an academic or to receive private medical treatment for longer than 6 months, you must apply for a biometric residence permit.

Take-off immigration is top-class and is the best in town. They helped me obtain an indefinite remain to stay (visa). Oliver guarded me through the entire process even though my situation was very difficult. The cost wasn't much and was given plenty of time to pay. I nearly gave up on the VISA process but OLIVER encouraged me and did the Magic. I was shocked when he called me and said YOU HAVE BEING GRANTED THE VISA. A very special thanks to Hannah as well.

Oliver and Hannah were very helpful during the visa applications process and supported me through the documents gathering phase as well, this would otherwise have been stressful. Was naturalising so lots of documentation was needed for me and my daughter and they assisted to chase letters from school! They went above and beyond. I never met them in person but they sounded calm and empathetic. My vusa was successful but i had confidence that if didn't get the visa first time, we could appeal! Would recommend them to anyone wanting a visa!
