3 Our offices are open but in the first instance please contact us by email or telephone:. Henchleys are established Solicitors in Littlehampton and Worthing, with extensive experience in all aspects of legal work. To take advantage of our free initial consultation (excluding matrimonial matters), please call us today on either of the above numbers.

For matrimonial matters we offer an initial appointment (up to 30 minutes) at a fixed 60 fee (plus VAT). If you are contemplating legal action, your claim and in particular any personal injury claim, may be suitable for funding under a conditional fee agreement, commonly referred to as "No Win No Fee". This means that you would not be responsible for your own legal fees if your claim were to be unsuccessful.

We will be pleased to discuss with you the merits and means of funding any prospective claim or action.
Services
Henchleys Solicitors was founded by Kevin Henchley (the firm's principal solicitor and Senior Reporting Officer), who has over 30 years local experience serving the Worthing and Littlehampton areas and beyond.
The firm's matters are dealt with by the firm's principal, senior solicitors Stephanie Henchley and Barbara Brown and conveyancing executive Lisa Hunt.
We seek to establish a close working rapport with our clients to ensure all requirements are met.
A free initial appointment (or fixed fee appointment for matrimonial matters) is available to enable your particular matter or concern to be assessed.
Solicitors must provide a mass of compliance information and details to clients under procedures enforced by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), HM Government, the Law Society and others covering Terms and Conditions of Business/Service; Anti-Money-Laundering procedures; fee information; Data Protection; Complaints, etc.
There is an immediate and real danger of information overload/confusion.
What is intended to give assurance and to clarify matters can often achieve the exact opposite.
At Henchleys, we have found that clients understand and appreciate a short, frank free initial consultation at the outset whether at the telephone or an appointment at one of our offices.
The purchase of your home is probably one of the largest investments you will make in your lifetime.
It is essential that dealings with your home are carried out in a professional and efficient manner.
At Henchleys we do not operate as a bulk on-line or telephone-based conveyancer.
We offer expert personalised attention to your matter provided by our experienced property lawyers.
Henchleys' client-focused efficiency and level of expertise has enabled the firm to achieve accreditation under the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme (registration number - CQS01208).
The benefit of valid, properly drafted legal documents is that they ultimately save time, expense and, often acrimony.
Wills - providing certainty and obviating the need to implement the complex and often unexpected results which follow if an intestacy arises in the absence of a valid Will.
The appointment of attorneys to obviate the need for application to the Court of Protection for the appointment of deputies.
Declarations of Trust concerning ownership of property and contributions to the purchase or improvement of the same.
A General Power of Attorney deed is effective and can be used immediately it has been signed/witnessed.
There is no need to register such Powers.
Generally these documents are used for short periods where cover is required e.g. if an individual is abroad on business/vacation or otherwise unavailable to deal with matters that require attention e.g.
Such Powers can no longer be executed but an EPA which is already in force remains valid (subject to registration in circumstances noted in the document).
