A full assessment at that consultation will determine a prospective client's eligibility for Legal Aid or Legal Advice and Assistance which is means tested and funded by the Scottish Legal Aid Board subject to the relevant Legal Aid Regulations.
If eligibility for Legal Aid is possible the client will be asked to provide necessary documentation for proof of capital, income and outgoings.
We charge an hourly rate which depends on the nature of the subject matter, the level of gravity and complexity required and the expertise of the lawyer engaged.
