Services
Our solicitors are members of the organisation, Resolution.
This means that wherever possible, we adopt a conciliatory approach to divorce and separation to ensure that differences are settled in a constructive manner.
We understand that separation and divorce can be a difficult time for your and your family.
We provide a discreet and calm environment for you to discuss your case with a specialist solicitor.
Our lawyers are experienced and will be sympathetic to your problems and needs whilst progressing your case in a professional and efficient manner.
At Wilson Davies & Co Solicitors, we understand the importance and the stress involved with the sale and purchase of property.
Our aim is to provide you with a fully comprehensive, efficient and friendly service to complete the transaction as quickly and seamlessly as possible whilst maintaining the utmost care and professionalism when dealing with all parties involved.
Your case will be dealt with by a solicitor or licensed conveyancer with no less than 15 years experience.
The lawyer handling your case will be your point of contact throughout your transaction which means that although other staff may assist with your case, your personal lawyer will always keep you updated with the progress of your transaction.
Why Make a Will?
The obvious and perhaps most important reason to make a Will is to ensure that the right people inherit your estate when you die.
If you do not have a Will, the law will direct who inherits your estate, so your friends, favourite charities may get nothing.
If you are not married, it is particularly important that you make a Will because the law does not automatically recognise partners as having the same rights as married couples.
Even if you have lived with your partner for many years, your partner may be left with nothing from your estate if you die and have not made a Will.
A Lasting Power of Attorney is a legal document that authorises another person nominated by you to act on your behalf if you are unable to make decisions due to dementia or brain impairment, or perhaps because you have a disability or mobility issue which restricts your ability to attend to your finances and property affairs.
You may decide to have a Lasting Power of Attorney simply because you need some help and assistance managing your finances.
It may only be needed temporarily, for example, if you're in hospital and need help completing some everyday matters such as paying your bills.
At Wilson Davies & Co Solicitors we understand that the loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult and challenging experiences in life.
As solicitors with a wealth of experience dealing with probate and estate administration, you can rest assured that your case will be handled with the utmost sensitivity and compassion.
As specialist solicitors, we use our expertise to complete the administration process swiftly and efficiently, and to the correct standard.
As all cases are difference, we tailor our services to meet your specific requirements.
