We specialise in claims for injuries and other losses for people who have been injured in accidents which were not their fault. In fact, we don't touch anything else! We cover many types of accident including road accidents and work accidents, to name only two. We are both local. Susan comes from St Ives and I was born and brought up in the Camborne/Redruth area.

We have two grown-up children; our daughter is a primary school teacher and our son is in college locally. Deliberately we have kept our practice small, personal and totally independent. Our aim is to do all we can for our clients as individuals, not process high volumes of cases. As such I meet each client at the start of their claim, usually in their own home*.

This helps build a working relationship at the outset which stands us in good stead throughout the case. Although independent and based in Cornwall, we have regular contact with other legal and medical experts across the country and over the years we have built up a wide range of contacts we can draw upon to assist our clients, as and when needed.
Services
Road accidents account for by far the largest percentage of injury accidents.
Over the years we have conducted a large number of successful claims for car drivers and passengers, cyclists, motorcycle riders and pillion passengers, pedestrians, passengers on public transport and many others.
In most road traffic cases the injured parties recover fairly well and their claims are of moderate value.
Regrettably, other accident victims are less fortunate.
Josh was riding his motorbike on the road from Penzance to Hayle.
No one goes to off work expecting to have an accident.
But accidents do happen, with workers suffering injuries and financial losses they can ill afford, such as loss of earnings.
If you have had an accident at work which was not your fault, you may be able to claim compensation for your injuries and other losses.
Matt was employed by a builder.
He was working on the roof of a house near Camborne when he lost his footing and slid down the roof.
The scaffolding, which was defective, failed to save him and he fell the full height of the building to the ground below.
Many insurance companies like to deal direct with you if one of their policyholders has caused you injury.
This can work well for them - they do not have to pay towards solicitors' fees and often get to settle claims on their own figures.
Dealing direct may not be best for you.
You may not know if you have included all possible parts of your claim, gathered the right evidence or settled for the right figure, to mention just a few areas where claims can go wrong.
Rachel was in Bodmin, driving around a roundabout, when a larger vehicle collided with her car.
We hope you will be very pleased with our work on your behalf but if there is any aspect of our service which gives you concern or you feel you have a grievance (including a concern or grievance over our charges), please do not hesitate to contact Brian Watters personally.
If Brian is not able to resolve the matter to your satisfaction, he will explain your further options.
