Caroline joined the practice in 1997 as a trainee, qualifying as a Solicitor and becoming a partner in 1999 and took over the practice in 2008. Caroline has practiced in and around Torbay throughout her career gaining extensive experience in local property transactions. In her spare time Caroline can be found attending local Churches to teach bellringing and enjoying real ales.

Angela qualified in 2002, working in Paignton for 12 years. She joined Roger Richards in 2015 and specialises in Employment, Personal Injury, Contentious Probate and General Litigation. Prior to embarking on a career in law, Angela had been involved in a wide range of businesses which has led to a keen understanding of the problems that can face clients from all walks of life.

Angela always looks to find a practical solution for clients before resorting to costly litigation. Away from work Angela loves to travel, music, dancing, reading and loves to rustle up a meal for friends accompanied by a nice red wine! Peter has extensive knowledge and experience in Residential Conveyacing throughout Torbay and surrounding area.

These are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as estate agents' commission (we have no way of knowing what this fee will be as they vary from agent to agent and property to property).
Your matter will be dealt with by either Caroline Thompson who is a Solicitor and the Senior Partner of the practice.
Caroline has over 20 years post qualification experience within this area of the law or Peter Miles who is a Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) and has over 35 years of post qualification experience within this area of the law.
Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as Land Registry fees, the Land Registry fee shown is the fee charged when the the application is submitted electronically.
The fee will double if we have no choice but to submit the application by post.
This will occur, generally, if the property is unregistered.
We handle the payment of disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process.
Notice of Charge fee (if the property is to be mortgaged) - this fee will be set out in the Lease.
