Grahame Stowe Bateson was founded in 1981. We originally specialised in criminal and family law, but quickly grew to cover other areas such as conveyancing and wills & probate. Even though we have a diverse range of solicitors who have their own specialisms, we are very much one team here at GSB. Each solicitor and legal professional supports the other members of the team around them.
We believe that people should always have access to the best legal advice and representation possible, regardless of circumstances. Therefore, we always give the best service while striving to be affordable and competitive. However, as affordable as we are, we understand that legal advice and representation isn't always easy to access. Therefore, a few years ago, we set up our free advice clinic.
These weekly sessions run every Wednesday from 5-7pm. You do not need to book an appointment and there is no obligation, simply turn up for free legal advice. We were the first firm in Leeds to do this. The team at Grahame Stowe Bateson currently operate out of four offices in Bramley, Middleton, Leeds City Centre and Harrogate.

However, our reputation quickly grew, and so more and more clients approached us.
To keep up with the demand we had to employ more solicitors to join the team.
Obviously before long we outgrew our Leeds City Centre office.
So we opened another just outside of Leeds.
This plan worked for a while, but we found as we now had an office in a more accessible part of the city even more clients approached us.
