He is conscious of, and understands, that clients face emotional issues in such situations.
He works with clients to help them to find practical solutions to what are often difficult and complex legal problems - doing so in a caring and yet cost-effective manner.
Johns Gilbert & Frankton offers a range of services to individuals and families.
Our team of experienced lawyers is here to help you to deal with your legal requirements and to offer you advice in what can often be difficult situations.
Whether it be a matrimonial or relationship problem, moving to a new house, making a will, administering an estate or granting a power of attorney, our expert lawyers and support staff will provide you with the right advice at the right time and in a way that you will understand, and which addresses your particular needs.
We advise in relation to issues of private law relating to children, such as where they are to live and how much time they will spend with each parent.
In most cases, the parents are able to agree on all relevant arrangements, but where issues arise, we can assist with correspondence and involving outside agencies and the court where necessary.

Lasting Powers of Attorney are a more detailed document.
We can provide you with full details.
A Power of Attorney is a document in which one person (the donor) gives another person (the donee) authority to act on his or her behalf and in his or her name.
An Ordinary Power of Attorney is cancelled if the donor becomes mentally incapable.
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA), however, remains in force despite the donor's mental incapacity, provided that it is registered with the Office of the Public Guardian.
