P J Bingham
Phil Bingham started PJ Bingham & Co Ltd in 1985 having previously worked in litigation as a fee earner for 15 years. Melanie Bingham began working in costs at PJ Bingham & Co Ltd in 1994 and has plans to take the firm forward incorporating all the traditional and detailed knowledge that she has acquired in the last 25 years coupled with an interest and enthusiasm for the fast changing legal and technological landscape which the area of legal costs has become.

In the over 40 years since the firm was started we have been helping our clients to achieve maximum recoveries of their legal costs in all areas of litigation, from the Supreme Court (House of Lords), Judicial Review, Court of Appeal, all divisions of the High Court, various tribunals such as planning and employment, through to all levels of County Court actions.

During this time we have deliberately maintained a balanced practice by also applying our expertise to opposing Bills of Costs as necessary and have lengthy ongoing experience of advising on minimising your Client's exposure when they have become responsible for paying their opponents costs.
