Our way of doing business comprises a unique combination of three distinct elements which set us apart from other firms. Clients can often be concerned about uncertain and expensive legal fees but we believe that setting a budget need not be the mystery it appears to be in some professional circles. For every piece of work we carry out, we offer an upfront fixed fee.

This fee will be agreed with you at the outset and we guarantee not to charge any more than the agreed quote - there will be no surprises or "hidden extras". Unlike most law firms, our team members have no annual fee targets and no annual time targets. This means that clients can call us at any time to discuss matters without the fear of incurring additional costs each time.

We understand that life is busy and that it is not always convenient to come into the office to see us. Taking time out of your busy day travelling to meet with your solicitor can be a strain on your resources. On the other hand, it can be more expensive asking a solicitor to visit you because they may charge for their travel time and costs.
Services
To be the Private Client firm of choice for members of the public and professionals in Scotland.
Well, we most certainly live in interesting times.
Both the private and public sector face unprecedented challenges as a result of some of the biggest corporate failures in history.
We believe that a significant element in the failure of these organisations has been a shift in focus away from the customer towards a self-interested focus upon themselves and their own profits.
Many seem to have forgotten that, without their customers, they would not have a business at all.
His purpose was not to compete with more traditional firms who offer a complete range of legal services but, rather, to focus on providing specialist advice in an exclusive number of areas which affect most people at some point in their lives.
As such, Stuart deals with Conveyancing, Wills, Confirmation (Probate), Trusts, Inheritance Tax planning, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship Orders, Care of the Elderly and Charities.
In order to alleviate some of the difficulties which tend to arise as a result of charging clients on the basis on an hourly rate, Stuart was also keen to ensure that all work be carried out on a "fixed fee" basis which is agreed with the client in advance of any work being carried out.
My parents are extremely happy with the legal work you have carried out and would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Stuart Easton at Eastons Private Client Solicitors to friends and family members who are looking for local, high quality legal advice at affordable prices.
Stuart was very pleasant and easy to talk to; explained things in easy to understand language; very helpful and friendly.
It was good dealing with someone on the ball, professional and reliable.
I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to Stuart Easton for arranging the Power of Attorney and Wills for both my parents.
At the moment, almost 70% of adults in Scotland do not have an appropriate Will in place.
This means that, for the vast majority of people, complex and outdated legal rules will dictate how their assets are to be distributed in a manner which, in most cases, they probably wouldn't have chosen.
Whilst almost everyone would agree that it makes sense to have a Will in place, the reality is that most people "never get round to it".
A will ensures that your property and assets will pass to people of your choosing, rather than to remote family members or, even worse, the government.
The Law Society recommends that everyone over the age of 50 should have a Power of Attorney in place.
Appointing an Attorney to look after your affairs in the event of old age or infirmity can save thousands of pounds and can also save a lot of distress for family members at an already difficult time.
