We are specialist property and probate lawyers providing our clients with advice on all types of residential conveyancing transactions, probate matters, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Donn & Co has built its reputation on reliability and we believe in providing our clients with the best service possible which means that you come first.

At Donn & Co we believe that the key to successful conveyancing is all about the relationship built between the property lawyer and the client and we are happy to communicate with clients by phone, post, email or face-to-face as required.Unlike many conveyancing firms we do not expect clients to put up with a "factory type" conveyancing service.

At Donn & Co your transaction will be handled by one of the partners or a fee earner so you can be assured that you will always be speaking to someone qualified to give information, advice and support throughout your transaction.Client care is very important to us at Donn & Co and we are proud that the majority of our work comes from existing clients returning to us or recommendations from satisfied clients.
Services
We use the very latest technology to make the conveyancing process as efficient as possible.
Redbrick Practice Management enables us to eliminate repetitive tasks, electronically request official information such as searches and EPCs and complete and submit stamp duty land tax (SDLT) returns online.
As part of this service you are able to track the progress of your transactions online 24/7.
The progress of each of your files is updated automatically as we work on them and you can login and check their status any time, day or night.
At Donn & Co we are happy to deal with as much or little of the administration as you need.
At Donn & Co we will provide you with an estimate of the total cost of the administration of the estate at the outset.
At Donn & Co our policy is to charge only for the work carried out.
We do not charge a percentage of the estate on top of any fees.
Everyone should consider making a Will to deal with their estate at their death.
Making a will helps provide for your family's future and protect them from additional distress when you pass away.
A well-drafted Will is one of the best ways of protecting both your interests and the estate you've spent a lifetime building up.
If you do not make a Will you die "intestate" and your estate (that is your property and possessions) will be distributed according to the law, rather than according to your own wishes.
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is a legal document in which you appoint people to help you make decisions or to make decisions on your behalf.
If you want someone to act on your behalf in relation to financial decisions or in relation to medical or welfare decisions, you will need to appoint them as your Attorneys under an LPA.
By making an LPA, you will give yourself more control over what would happen if you have an accident or an illness and can't make decisions yourself i.e. in the event that you lack mental capacity.
